November 21st and 22nd 2009, Jt's Bicycle Shop and the Las Vegas Mountain Bike
Group are having our 2nd annual Charity Event to Benefit the Shade Tree
Homeless Shelter.
Saturday 11/21 9:00am - 4:00pm, Sunday 11/22 9:00am - 2:00pm.
The cost for this event is a $10 donation for each day(this includes 5 raffle tickets, food, drinks and bike demos). Don't Miss This Event! You do not need to be a member of the Las Vegas Mountain Bike Group to Attend the event.
Last year was a huge success that's why this year we have scheduled 2 full days of events at Cottonwood Valley. Our goal is to exceed last year's donations and create a tradition we can look forward to each year. The Giant Bicycle Demo Truck will be there for all of us try out their product line. You will receive raffle tickets, with your $10 donation, for bike gear. Food and drinks will be provided. Music and PA provided by Land Rover of Las Vegas.
The Shade Tree is in need of specific items, in addition to the $10.00 event donation, please bring any of the items from the list below.
We will also be holding a two day raffle for a Brand New Giant Yukon Full Suspension Mountain Bike that retails for over $900. The tickets for this will cost $10 each and all the money raised from this raffle will go to The Shade Tree. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT TO WIN!
Las Vegas local artists are donating their work for silent auctions along with items from bike companies(including a Gravity Dropper seat post).
Jt's Bicycle shop and the Las Vegas Mountain Bike Group would like all outdoor enthusiasts to join us for this great event.

10:00am - 4:00pm - Silent Auction.
10:30am - Beginner Mountain bike group ride, Slow pace ride for everyone.
11:00am - Grilling starts, food and drinks provided by Whole Foods and Jt's Bicycle shop.
11:45am - Basic Bike maintenance class provided by Jim T, of JT's bicycle shop.
12:00pm - 2:00 - Shuttle rides to the top of Red Canyon, for the guys and girls demoing the Giant Glory and Faith bikes.
12:45pm - Mountain bike 101 clinic with Ron Faithful, tips that will make you a better rider.
2:00pm - WOMENS ONLY RIDE, Hosted by Crystal S.(Dorian's Wife)
4:00pm - Raffle starts, lots of bike gear.
5:30pm - NIGHT RIDE, charge your lights for a fun ride - followed by food on the grill and drinks(if you need a light please contact Ron Rudy).

To demo a bike, here’s all you need to bring with you: (1) a valid driver’s license and credit card, (2) a bicycle helmet, (3) your own pedals if you want to ride something other than platform pedals, and (4) your signature on the Ride Giant Tour waiver form.
Giant bicycles featured on the 2009 Ride Giant Tour will include (but may not be limited to) the following: TCR Advanced SL 2, TCR Advanced 2, Defy Advanced 2, Anthem X, Trance X, Reign X, Glory, Faith. From the Giant for Women line of bicycles, featured bikes on the 2009 Ride Giant Tour include the TCR Alliance W, Avail Advanced 2, Anthem Xw, and a Cypher 2.
Directions:
From I 15 take the Blue Diamond Exit and go West approximatly 10 miles. At the junction of route 159 and 160/Blue Diamond Rd, keep heading WEST for another 4.7 miles, to the Parking lot (trailhead) on the right side of the road. The event will be in the new parking lot on the Right side of the HWY. 160.
